SILENT HILL: Townfall Fleeting Visit Trophy Guide — Under 4 Hours
Earn Fleeting Visit with a playthrough under four hours. Understand the pause-menu timer rule and follow the linked six-Part mandatory-item speedrun route.
Answer: Any-ending completion in under 4 tracked hours — main objectives only, pause freely
Requirements
- A complete playthrough — any ending — with tracked playtime under 4 hours
- The timer stops while the pause menu is open, so checking notes mid-run is safe
- Game Options > Show Time Played displays a live timer during play
- A focused run clears in roughly 2 hours per the roadmap author; even an all-documents run lands near 3
Reward: Trophy: Fleeting Visit (Silver)
What does Fleeting Visit ask for?
Finish any playthrough in under 4 hours of tracked time — ending choice does not matter. Despite being flagged the roadmap’s hardest trophy, the author calls the threshold very lenient: a run that only touches main objectives clears in about 2 hours, and even a run collecting all documents lands around 3 hours.
How the timer works
- The tracked clock stops while the pause menu is open — you can pause to check a step or a map without burning time.
- A live timer can be shown during play: Game Options → Show Time Played. Turn it on before the run so you always know your pace.
How to structure the run
- Run it on a replay, not a blind first pass — knowing the route is the entire speed advantage, which is why this is naturally a New Game Plus or second-run trophy. Both sources of the sub-4-hour estimates assume route knowledge.
- Main objectives only. Skip optional collectibles, but retain required clues and key items; the missables guide explains why a dedicated collecting run is safer for those.
- Follow the complete six-Part speedrun route for mandatory items, clue gates and puzzle inputs through the final return.
- Pause freely. Reading a step in the pause menu costs nothing; standing lost in-game does.
- Any ending counts. Do not detour for a specific ending unless you already know how to hit it fast.
Completion check and retry planning
Keep Game Options → Show Time Played visible and finish the chosen ending below 4:00:00. NG+ is optional; familiarity with the route is the reason to recommend a replay. The source estimates are not a guaranteed budget for your run.
We have not tested how every checkpoint or reload affects elapsed time. Compare the displayed timer after loading rather than promising that reload always restores time or never can. Use the save strategy and the speedrun guide’s final checklist to plan a clean retry.
What this page rests on
Both the trophy mechanics (threshold, pause behavior, timer option, leniency estimates) and the linked route reference come from PowerPyx’s roadmap and its speedrun walkthrough — read in full on 2026-09-24, one publisher chain, so the page stays source-checked rather than verified. No run on this site was performed; the estimates belong to the roadmap author. The missables guide explains how to keep this run from destroying your collection progress.
