SILENT HILL: Townfall FIX THIS Puzzle — Alarm & Pipe Solution

What is the FIX THIS puzzle?

In Part 6 (Simon), the CEG HQ building enters its “Different” state. You must shut down the alarm system, rotate the central pipe into alignment across four floors, then run a gas flow test and ignite the system to escape.

What do I need first?

• Controller Key — in a box to the left of the valve on Floor 2 (power up the elevator to reach that floor).
• Reference Sheet — on the table left of the console. It contains both codes and the pipe alignment hints.

What are the two codes?

Panel	Code	Effect
ALARM STATUS (ground floor)	A5D7	Shuts down the alarm
COMMAND CONSOLE (ground floor, right side)	E3E3	Releases the rotation clamps

Enter A5D7 first to silence the alarm, then E3E3 at the command console to unlock the pipe cranks.

How do I rotate the pipe?

With the clamps released, go to each floor and rotate the pipe sections:

Floor	Rotations	Direction
Floor 1	2	Right
Floor 2	1	Left
Floor 3	2	Left
Floor 4	2	Right

The goal is to connect the red pipe into one continuous route from bottom to top. When all four floors are aligned, the pipe sections connect visually.

How do I run the gas flow test?

1. Return to the COMMAND CONSOLE on the ground floor.
2. Select “Gas Flow” to enable valve manipulation.
3. Select “Flow Test” — Outlet, Inlet and Sections 1-4 all turn green.
4. Press “IGNITE”.

After IGNITE, head to the far side of the room and find the yellow light by the rubble — crouch through the gap to continue Part 6.

Troubleshooting

• Alarm keeps sounding — make sure you entered A5D7 (not E3E3) at the alarm panel first; the two panels serve different purposes.
• Pipe won’t align — check each floor individually; a single floor out of alignment breaks the visual connection.
• Reference Sheet missing — it’s on the table left of the console on the ground floor; grab it before trying to enter codes.
