SILENT HILL: Townfall Finance Room Code (2709) & Projector Lens

What is the Finance Room code?

2709. The keypad sits on the Finance Room door on the ground floor of CEG HQ. You must also have the Access Card – Level 3/4 — tap it on the reader before the keypad lights up.

Where does the code come from?

The CEG Checkout Sheet, found in the Storeroom on the 4th Floor. To reach it you must first obtain the CEG Storeroom Key (on the floor by a body in the Media Department west room), unlock the storeroom, and read the Checkout Sheet inside the GENERAL STORAGE cabinet.

Why doesn’t the door open with just the code?

Two things must happen before the keypad works:

1. Scan the Access Card — tap the Access Card – Level 3/4 (from the 5th Floor Boardroom) on the card reader beside the Finance door.
2. Enter 2709 on the keypad and press OK.

If you enter the code without scanning the card first, the door stays locked. Go back to the Boardroom on Floor 5 if you haven’t picked up the card yet.

Where is the Projector Lens?

Inside the Finance Room, walk to the C.F.O. office — the Projector Lens sits on the desk. This is one of three parts needed for the Boardroom projector. The other two (Bulb and Sliders) are on other floors — see the projector puzzle page for the full assembly and slide order.

What comes next?

After collecting the Lens, return to the 5th Floor Boardroom to assemble the projector. If you still need the Maintenance Key, it’s in a body’s hand at the Boardroom table — it opens Maintenance doors on all floors. Bank a save at a phone before the next sequence.
