Quick solution: Full panel configuration per the Clamp Release Procedure document
Reward: Shipping container released — progression to Chapter 16
Which control panel is this?
The Clamp Release control board (model 920CEG) in the Control Room of SWDP – Different. It is the panel opposite the Remote Systems Control console — the camera-based entry panel used earlier in this sequence. This is the final release step for the shipping container — not the same clamp operation as the FIX THIS pipe rotation in Chapter 14.
What is the Clamp Release Procedure?
The Procedure is printed for you at the control room’s printer (the same station used for the Remote Systems entries): after you turn Valve F in the valve room on the lower floor, the printer outputs the document. It lists every switch, dial and pad entry on the 920CEG board:
| Control | Setting |
|---|---|
| Pressure Control (lower-left) | Dial down to Set |
| Notify (top) | Both Self and All to On |
| Balance | Both Tension (L) and Tension (R) to Intermediate |
| Run Off | Disengaged |
| Intubate Flow | None |
| Clamp Connection | D71 |
| Report | Activate 1st, 3rd and 6th switches (yellow light) |
| Battery One | B (pointing up) |
| Battery Two | C (pointing right) |
| Protection | SO, ZE or RS — any of the three works |
Does the order matter?
No. The source guide states it outright: the order you complete the settings in does not matter — only that each control ends in the correct state. Configure each control, and the green Release button flashes when everything is set.
How do I confirm the release is ready?
Check the Activate section at the bottom of the panel. The green Release button flashes when the configuration is correct. Press it to release the shipping container.
What happens after the release?
Leave the Control Room and go down to the released container. Turn the red valve (described as a crank in the second source) beside it — no monsters threaten you in this section. This completes the Clamp Release Procedure and awards the “Can’t Change Things” trophy.
Source verification
The complete panel configuration was re-checked on 2026-09-23 against two independent guides read in full: ShowGamer’s step-by-step panel walkthrough and PowerPyx’s Part 6 collectible guide. Both list the same values for every shared control (Pressure Set, Notify On, Balance Intermediate, Run Off Disengaged, Intubate None, D71, Report 1-3-6, Battery B and C) and both confirm the flashing green Release button. The Protection switches (SO/ZE/RS — any works) are currently supported by one source only and are non-blocking either way. The page publishes under the site’s source_checked standard with this cross-check registered; it is not upgraded to verified because the site has not confirmed the configuration in-game.
