What are the X-Ray settings?

Two scans, two sets of values — both from the X-Ray Dosage Table on the laptop beside the patient’s bed:

If your table shows different numbers, you are reading a different row — match the row to the body part you currently have selected as SITE.

How do I align the camera?

Before the machine accepts any settings, the scan target must be aligned:

1. Skull first — at the terminal, use the left stick to tilt the rig toward the head and the right stick to bring the face closer, until each of the four corner brackets sits over a white square around the head. The screen reads “Patient Skull – Aligned”.
2. Chest second — move the camera down along the body (the raised part of the sheet marks the chest) and repeat the bracket alignment until “Patient Chest – Aligned” appears.

What is the exact procedure?

1. Flip POWER on at the machine.
2. Align the camera (see above).
3. Set SITE, then kV, mA and Time from the dosage table.
4. Press the green button at the bottom right of the panel.
5. Repeat for the second scan.

Where do the X-Rays go?

Collect “Head and Chest X-Rays” from the printer to the right of the computer — it is a single pickup containing both films. Hang them on the wall-mounted light box beside the intercom in the surgery room and interact with each when prompted. From there the ward sends you hunting for medicines — the infusion puzzle picks up immediately after, and the Records Room holds one of the three doses.

Why is my scan not completing?

• The alignment is not finished — the “Aligned” banner must be on screen before the panel accepts values.
• Values are set for the wrong SITE — skull values on a chest scan do nothing.
• The green button was not pressed after entering a correct set.
