SILENT HILL: Townfall Endings — Overview & Requirements

All five SILENT HILL: Townfall endings, NG+ requirements and a careful guide to the disputed main-ending score and save planning.

    How the endings work

SILENT HILL: Townfall has five endings: three available on a first run and two NG+ endings. Early guides use Discoveries versus total kills to explain the main three. New player save-data and blueprint reports also point to Cannula refills and Zoe's treatment mistakes, and distinguish Simon's counted kills from the postgame total. The precise rule has not been verified in a playthrough by this site; use the linked guides and keep a save before the final stretch.

    Requirements summary (spoiler-ish) — Justice

Original community blueprint research reports Justice at 20 or more weighted points. Discoveries raise the score; qualifying Simon kills, Cannula refills and Zoe mistakes lower it. This site has not independently reproduced the rule; postgame total kills are not the score input.

    Requirements summary (spoiler-ish) — Forever

Original community blueprint research reports Forever at 0–19 weighted points. A fixed 3–5 Discovery lead over postgame kills is not a dependable target. The threshold is a reported finding, not an outcome independently reproduced by this site.

    Requirements summary (spoiler-ish) — Abandoned

Original community blueprint research reports Abandoned below 0 weighted points. The old 60-total-kill automatic lock is disputed. Read the source comparison before planning a run; this site has not independently reproduced the calculation.

    Requirements summary (spoiler-ish) — Dog

In a New Game Plus run, collect the Bronze, Silver and Gold coins and deposit each into a Guide Dogs donation bank. The ending triggers after the final boss.

    Requirements summary (spoiler-ish) — Sci-fi

In a New Game Plus run, solve the strange door puzzle in Part 6 (Simon) and use the Strange Access Card on a keypad. It fires earlier than the other endings and skips the final boss. Postcards hint at it but are not required.

    Planning the endings run

    • At least two full playthroughs are needed because Dog and Sci-fi require NG+. Choose collection and combat goals for the first run without assuming that one kills-minus-Discoveries gap guarantees a main ending.
    • For an endings run, save before the final stretch, record the ending and visible totals, then reload. A late save cannot undo earlier Cannula refills or Zoe mistakes. Skip manual-save planning during Reject The Help.
    • The Dog and Sci-fi endings override the main three when their conditions are met, so take them deliberately.
