Answer: Community-reported Justice score: 20 or more; not independently reproduced here
Requirements
- Collect Clues and Documents to raise the Discovery count; avoid optional kills
- Avoid unnecessary Cannula refills and mistakes during Zoe’s treatment while their reported scoring effect is checked
- Playable on a first playthrough or NG+ — no unique items or questline involved
- CRTV scans do not count as Discoveries; the reported score counts Simon’s qualifying kills, not every postgame kill
- Keep a save before the final stretch; no fixed Discovery lead or 60-total-kill rule is confirmed

Source update: 28 September
PowerPyx’s current guide now adopts the weighted-score explanation and credits CrazyDude1994 / CrazySerega. Its publication of the finding is not an independent reproduction. Earlier balance advice below is retained as historical context, not the guide’s current position.
What does the original research say about exactly 20?
The original blueprint-analysis post explicitly reports Justice at 20 or more, Forever at 0–19, and Abandoned below 0. Under that proposed rule, exactly 20 belongs to Justice. PowerPyx uses “over 20” alongside “0–19”; that wording leaves a gap which the original author’s account does not.
These are reported community thresholds, not an official specification or an outcome independently reproduced by this site. The proposed score is Discoveries minus 2 per qualifying Simon kill, 4 per Cannula refill and 3 per Zoe treatment mistake. The postgame total-kills figure cannot be substituted for the qualifying-kill count. Keep an earlier save for an ordinary ending attempt; skip manual saves on a Reject The Help run.
Quick requirements
Justice is the higher-score main ending and is available on a first playthrough. The safest source-backed direction is to collect Clues and Documents, avoid optional kills, use fewer Cannula refills and make as few mistakes as possible during Zoe’s treatment. The exact cutoff is not confirmed by this site. The earlier claim that 60 total kills automatically blocks Justice is now disputed; do not use it as a hard rule.
What counts as a Discovery?
Clues and Documents — the same 85 pickups tracked on the documents checklist. Two exclusions can trip tallies up:
- CRTV scans do not count as Discoveries.
- Only this run’s Clues/Documents count — not postcards, containers or anything else the game tracks separately.
Why the old kills-versus-Discoveries rule is incomplete
- ShowGamer reports a Justice run with 78 Discoveries / 18 total kills and recommends a lead of at least 10. That is one result plus editorial advice, not a tested threshold.
- A mod author’s save-data findings and a separate player blueprint analysis report that Discoveries, qualifying Simon kills, Cannula refills and Zoe’s treatment mistakes affect a weighted score. Both are player research, not official rules or playthroughs reproduced by this site.
- The proposed score does not use every kill shown on the postgame screen. In particular, the new analysis disputes the earlier advice that Richard’s kills reduce this ending score. We cannot yet certify the exact counted enemy list or Justice cutoff.
How to keep kills low
- Treat fights as optional. Run past when the environment allows; block to survive the encounters you cannot dodge instead of finishing enemies off.
- Avoid unnecessary Cannula refills. A refill may help you survive, so do not treat this as a no-healing challenge; the player file reports only Cannula refills as a scoring factor.
- Complete Zoe’s treatment carefully. Read each clue before committing to pump settings and intubation steps on the The Patient route.
- Sweep optional rooms for Documents — every Discovery widens the gap from the safe side.
Justice vs Forever
Forever is the middle main ending. A player reported Forever with 66 Discoveries / 43 postgame kills, far outside ShowGamer’s suggested 3–5 lead. The Forever guide separates those cases; neither visible pair is enough to predict the result alone.
Save planning
Skip the manual-save strategy below during Reject The Help.
Bank a manual save before the final stretch. If the result is Forever or Abandoned, reload and collect remaining Documents without adding avoidable kills. A late save cannot erase refills or Zoe mistakes made earlier, so retain an earlier checkpoint when planning several main endings.

What this page rests on
ShowGamer’s older Justice guide supplied the 78/18 example. The newer Nexus Mods and Reddit posts report a weighted score and challenge its total-kill advice. This page remains source_checked: we have read the accounts but have not inspected the game files or completed a controlled Justice run. No exact numeric cutoff is asserted.
