What goes on the clinic scales?

How was this solution verified?

Two independently produced guides agree on the full arrangement: PowerPyx’s Arrival walkthrough and AllThings.How’s scales guide both place the Broken Stethoscope on the left, the Prescription Dosage Error note in the middle and Zoe’s Lanyard on the right (both read in full on 2026-09-22). Solving the scales also closes Part 1 — the story rolls into the next part afterward.

Place the items and check the result

1. Return to the Z Ellis back room in the family clinic with all three items.
2. Interact with the left scale and choose the Broken Stethoscope.
3. Put the Prescription Dosage Error note on the middle scale.
4. Put Zoe’s Lanyard on the right scale. Completing the arrangement ends Arrival.

The directions describe the three positions; the sources do not establish that placing them in a different chronological order changes the solution.

The Shorefront route connects these three branches. It also distinguishes the street pharmacy from the later hospital pharmacy.

What does solving it unlock?

The Resignation trophy, and the closing beat of Arrival’s clinic sequence. Because all three items are one-time pickups inside non-replaying chapters, on a collection run keep rotating phone-booth saves as you gather them (the no-manual-save challenge is an exception) — the Arrival walkthrough lists the full order.
