Quick solution: Reception phone 5353 → basement elevator → Storage room kit (locker gap) → three-stage intubation in Surgery

Reward: End of the The Patient medical sequence

Everything on this page describes a fictional in-game medical procedure in SILENT HILL: Townfall. It is not a real-world medical instruction.

    Quick answer

When Dr. Glenn asks for an Intubation Kit, dial 5353 on the Reception telephone — that unlocks the elevator opposite Reception. Ride it to the Victoria Ward Basement, crouch through the gap between the lockers in the Storage room, and take the kit from the shelf. Return to Surgery and complete the three-stage intubation prompt.

    Prerequisites and current objective

This task starts after the infusion: set the three pump rates, ready all three pumps and start the sequence from the bedside monitor (full steps on the infusion puzzle page). When the pumps run correctly, Dr. Glenn gives Zoe the next objective: find an Intubation Kit. Do not confuse this with the later blood transfusion sequence — that one happens after the ward changes, with different items, characters and doors.

    Access the basement

    1. Leave Surgery and head right toward Reception.
    2. Use the telephone in the first room on the right and dial 5353 (the Hospital Storage number — the same one Dr. Glenn provides; it is entry 10 on the phone checklist).
    3. The call unlocks the elevator opposite Reception.
    4. Take the elevator down to the Victoria Ward Basement (ShowGamer’s controller description: press B).

    Find the Medical Intubation Kit

    1. Follow the basement corridor into the Storage room.
    2. Look for the gap between the lockers — crouch and squeeze through.
    3. The Medical Intubation Kit sits on a shelf on the other side.
    4. A monster patrols the basement in ShowGamer’s account — it can be lured away with the radio in the Kitchen. NoobFeed’s shorter account does not mention it, so treat the patrol as reported rather than guaranteed in every run.

    Return to Surgery

Take the elevator back to the ground floor (ShowGamer: press G) and walk back to the Surgery room with the kit.

    Complete the in-game interaction

Interact with the patient to start the procedure. Two guides describe the same QTE at different zoom levels:

    • ShowGamer (controller input): rotate until the on-screen circle pulses, then hold R2 until the pulsing circle turns white — repeated three times. The third success triggers the closing cutscene.
    • KeenGamer (placement description): place the tool where the feedback flashes red, holding the input, working through right side → lower-left → top in that order.

The two accounts agree on the shape of the task — three successful holdinputs — and their details are complementary rather than contradictory: the placement order is KeenGamer’s report, the R2 button name is ShowGamer’s (controller wording; we have not verified a PC key mapping, so none is printed here). If your prompt behaves differently, follow the on-screen feedback over any written order.

    What comes next

The cutscene closes The Patient medical sequence. What follows is the changed ward and the blood transfusion sequence — a different puzzle with different items. Bank a save before leaving Surgery; the Part 3 walkthrough keeps the chapter order in one place.

    Sources

Both sources were read in full on 2026-09-24: NoobFeed’s Intubation Kit guide (the step-source for the phone/elevator/basement chain) and ShowGamer’s The Patient walkthrough (corroborating the same chain and adding the patrol detail and the prompt description). The page keeps a source-checked status — no in-game run was performed on this site, and the patrol and QTE specifics are attributed above rather than asserted.
