- NG+ run — Dog cannot be earned on a first playthrough
- Bronze Coin: Part 1, Ch. 1 (Cold Open) — Video Star store back room, Shorefront District South; deposit at the Guide Dogs bank on Main Street just before the Pharmacy
- Silver Coin: Part 4, Ch. 9 (Begin Again) — backyard shelf in Clara Woods; deposit at the laundromat bank in Ch. 10 (behind the post service building, after the bolt cutters)
- Gold Coin: Part 6, Ch. 15 — room behind door 793 in SWDP – Different; deposit at the hallway bank at the four-way split with red lights, after dropping the container
- Defeat the final boss and walk to Richard at the end of the pier — the ending plays instead of your main result

What is the Dog ending?
One of two New Game Plus-only joke endings. Across an NG+ run you collect three coins and deposit each into a Guide Dogs donation bank; when the final boss falls and you walk to Richard at the end of the pier, the Dog ending plays instead of your main-ending result.

Then finish the game: the ending triggers after the final boss. It awards the “Let’s Talk This Out” trophy.
Coins are one-time pickups inside non-replaying chapters — a missed coin is not recoverable in the same run, so keep banking saves as you go.
What does this page rest on?
The checklist above comes from one source read in full — PowerPyx’s endings guide, re-checked on 2026-09-24. This re-read also corrected an earlier draft’s mistake: the Silver coin is picked up in Ch. 9 but deposited at the Ch. 10 laundromat bank, not in the same chapter. The page carries a source-checked status rather than a fully-verified badge; nothing on it is invented, and the two-step coin/bank split is now attributed to the same re-read.

Because the Dog ending only triggers after the final boss, a run aimed at the Sci-fi ending (which fires earlier) cannot also produce Dog in the same pass — manual saves are the way to steer one NG+ run toward several results.
